You begin by installing the AutoDBA collector agent in your cloud environment, typically alongside the applications that connect to your PostgreSQL database. The collector agent is a stateless application that connects to your database and the cloud provider’s monitoring APIs to retrieve key metrics about the activity on the database system. It is a stateless application that can be easily deployed in a Kubernetes cluster or on any virtual machine.
